TOP MISSES OF THE NIGHT:
Drew Barrymore in Dior Haute Couture – The dress was great for her, perfect color and style, but the hair was so bad that it threw the whole look way off.
Hayden Panettiere in Gianfranco Ferré – This was the perfect color for her and the gown was actually very pretty up close, but the bust was too tight and left her body without any shape.
America Ferrera in Oscar de la Renta – The dress was a great style and color on her, but the length really wasn’t working on her. It’s the Golden Globes….gowns are required.
Blake Lively – Dress was great, hair was same old messy shag that ruined the outfit…..She also needed Demi to tell her not to hunch.
Christina Applegate in Roberto Cavalli– Now I can’t say anything about Christina, because I’ve always thought she was incredibly funny, and Samantha Who is a great show, but this was a total miss for her. The gown was ill fitting and a bad silhouette on her. We’ve seen her in the canary yellow before and it’s been done.
Miley Cyrus in Marchesa – Cute, but kind of boring. Her hair always looks the same. Because she is so young, she would have done much better in a short dress.
TOP 10 FASHION DISASTERS OF THE NIGHT:
1. Cameron Diaz – The definition of dumb blonde who loves pink. This was a total pink mess for me.
2. Glenn Close – What to say….She looks 10 years older and at that age, you really don’t want to go that way. She’s looked so much better in the past. What a disappointment.
3. January Jones – I love Mad Men, and I think January is just stunning, but the color was awful on her, the fit was way off, and she looked tired and depressed. NO GOOD!
4. Megan Fox – Usually an insanely hot babe (yes I sad babe), but she looks like a man dressed as women to me. Her hair was pulled way to tight and up, the dress was a lacey mess, and the tats!! I mean really, can you at least try to cover them up for the night with a bit of makeup? Seriously low-class look here.
5. Marisa Tomei – Bad, Bad, Bad…..the pirate look is not something you want to be trying out at the Globes.
6. Renée Zellweger – Now I can’t expect much from her, as she has almost always been a disappointment in the past, and this isn’t her worst, but still…oh so very bad.
7. Jenna Fischer – Floral? Really? She definitely needs a new stylist. She needs to step outside her “I’m so cute” box and venture into the classic, sexy, sophisticated realm.
8. Laura Dern – Not a good look on her at all. She is nicely tall and slender and the tea length, along with the horizontal lines in the dress, are just cutting her off in all the wrong spots.
9. Debra Messing – If this the new work of Rachel Zoe, then I think she needs to take a break. The hair was blah, the dress yuck. Nothing stood out on her last night. Bummer…
10. Rachel Griffiths – Although she is pregnant and has complained in the past about having trouble finding dresses to fit her bust line, the large drapey bag look is not an option.
